Vehicle Description 1953 Chevy 3100 Panel Truck.
3 owner southern truck (Arkansas).
all original body panels, no rust or fillers, driver quality paint.
straight rust free frame.
all original interior including passenger seat and the wood floor; all mechanical, chassis, electrical (12v), ignition, fuel system, body trim & interior rebuilt or new.
1954 Chevy 235 rebuilt as a blue flame six police motor shaved & bored 100, high performance cam, dual carbs, HEI ignition.
700R4 transmission.
1956 Chevy rear end with 235 gears.
Mustang II type front end with rack & pinion steering, front disk brakes, power steering, power brakes.
heavy duty rear suspension with trailer hitch (tows my 4,000 lb classic Chris Craft with ease).
'37 Chevy taillights added for directional and brake lights.
This truck is my daily driver; 28,500 miles; have made 5 round trips from central Florida to Boston with no trouble; will cruise all day at 75 mph.
original owner's manual in the glove box.
original valve cover, manifold, carb(rebuilt), air cleaner & distributor (rebuilt) included if you want a stock look under the hood.
The last 4 pictures are of the unrestored truck as I got it showing a clean body & a rust free floor pan - was garage kept for 30 years by the second owner.
