BoMar Soft Playgrounds is a specialized manufacturer of artistic playground equipment.
Our niche products are soft and safe, being made almost entirely of foam and rubber.
All work is done by hand, in-house, by a small team of less-than 10 artisans.
We operate out of two open-air warehouses shops located in an industrial complex between Tavares and Astatula, FL.
Our B2B business primarily serves the aquatics industry, with domestic and international customers consisting of water-parks, theme-parks, and city municipalities.
In addition to manufacturing new play features, our team travels the country to perform on-site repairs/restorations of damaged foam-rubber playground features.
We typically conduct 3 to 4 travel trips per year, hitting multiple locations in a single trip, with each trip lasting 1 to 3 weeks in duration.
APPLICANT MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO TRAVEL.
On our schedule we currently have two travel projects planned.
Our first project will be in Virginia from 9/11/2023 - 9/15/2023 and our second project will be 6 weeks in Las Vegas from 10/2/2023 - 11/10/2023.
All accommodations will be paid for on these trips.
We are currently seeking an energetic, enthusiastic individual with a desire to build a long-term career within our growing business.
Due to the unique nature of the work, we don't expect the applicant to have direct, apples-to-apples experience in this field.
Rather, we are seeking a competent individual with a good attitude, an eagerness to learn new skills, and a strong desire to hone and master those skills.
We are seeking perfectionists with a good eye for detail.
A successful candidate must have good hand-eye coordination for performing artistic finishings by hand, often in precarious angles, using high-speed power tools, while working on delicate and impressionable surfaces.
An ideal candidate is adept, adaptable, patient, remains steady under pressure, can focus on a singular project for long periods of time, understands the importance of developing standards, following processes, and executing best practices.
